QuickStart

Quick Start is the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education’s statewide arm for new, existing and expanding industries of Georgia. Developed originally as an incentive for companies to locate in Georgia, Quick Start now provides the same high-quality training to existing Georgia businesses and Georgia businesses which are expanding. These services are provided at no cost.

Quick Start works with all types of businesses to create customized programs that provide flexible, relevant training designed to help new or existing and expanding companies begin quality operations as quickly as possible.

Many companies are surprised to find that pre-employment training is available to serve as a screening tool. Others are pleased to find that this program is designed to be a partnership among their company, Quick Start and Southwest Georgia Technical College. Someone from the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education is there to assist with your training needs through every step.

Since 1967, Quick Start has provided customized training for hundreds of thousands of employees and for thousands of businesses and industries throughout the state.
