High school students receive technical training while completing their high school education, making it possible to graduate with a technical certificate of credit and a high school diploma at the same time. More and more high school students are taking advantage of technical education classes, which will give these students the opportunity to learn more about their future careers while still in high school. 

This educational approach of both academic and career and technical training is a winning combination, and results in decreased dropout rates, increased academic achievement, promotes post-secondary options, and prepares students for work-readiness.
